[ The situation wasn’t an easy one. In fact, it was more complicated than he realized until this morning.
He was an ass. That’s what it came down to.
So he made pancakes to make up for it. Or attempt to. With a container filled with fresh pancakes, still steaming and covered in butter, he makes his way to Jesper and Wylans suite and knocks.
Panic starts to bubble but he just holds up the container in offering. ]
[Jesper takes a moment to come to the door, still feeling the emotional punch of the call with Kaz. Things like that made you tired down to your bones, to the point of not wanting to attempt a damn thing.
I’m an ass. I told him to call you cause we both wanted you there. I’m sorry it was so early. Or late. And that we woke you up. We didn’t have sex. That’s your job.
[ he lowers the bag and holds it out more appropriately. ]
Hot pancakes, already buttered, syrup is on the side. Please don’t be upset.
[Jesper is left blinking, a bit owlishly, at the offering. That was--well it was a lot, in the span of a few minutes. But there's something--and it earns a bit of a snort. Probably the closest to a laugh he'll get over the whole situation.]
'That's my job'? [He sighs, shaking his head as he leans against the open door jam.]
I’m sorry. And yeah. Your job. Your his…you’re basically his boyfriend. Sex is something between you two. I mean…I’d like in on it eventually….okay not the point. My point is….that’s something for you two. Sex. It can’t be left as him and K. It needs to be replaced by someone that means something to him. I should stop talking. It’s still early. I’m sorry.
Noah. [He tries to cut in after the boyfriend comment. Because he was not, as far as he knows. As far as he's concerned. Boy, yes. Friend, yes. Boyfriend? Nope.]
Noah. [He tries again, but he keeps going--and this time Jesper does laugh, just at how ridiculous this all is. He waits, after that last murmur of sorry, a beat to see if he was truly done.] You're fine. It's fine. We'll be fine.
He sets the bag of food inside on the floor and tugs Jesper down for a kiss cause hugs aren’t enough okay? They’re not. ]
Also, while this is tmi and probably not going to help with the upset, I feel like it’s vital to know and I like giving you a heads up when it comes to Kaz. He’s insatiable and bolder than usual. Good luck. I think you’ll enjoy it but I’m just saying. He’s kind of a brat when he doesn’t have any clothes on.
[Honestly, the kiss shouldn't have been the surprise it was. But here he is, for the second time in the span of a handful of minutes, blinking down at Noah. And then he opens his mouth--]
